L. Steven Emmert has been appointed chairman of the Appellate Practice subcommittee for the Virginia State Bar's Litigation Section. Emmert practices at Sykes, Bourbon, Ahern & Levy and composes the Web site "Virginia Appellate News & Analysis" (www.virginia-appeals.com). He has a bachelor's degree from Richmond College and a juris doctorate from the University of Virginia.
