Appellate Law Symposium Slated For Danville

 

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, April 2, 2006 — The second in a statewide series of appellate practice symposia will be held Tuesday, May 2, in conjunction with the State Bar’s Solo and Small Firm Practitioner Forum in Danville.  The event is open to all Virginia lawyers, but will be limited to the first 25 registrants.  Admission is free for Virginia State Bar members. 

The program will be presented by L. Steven Emmert, Chairman of the Appellate Practice Subcommittee for the Virginia State Bar’s Litigation Section, and George Somerville of Troutman Sanders in Richmond.  The program will focus in depth on appellate oral argument.
