Appellate Law Symposium Slated For Tidewater Area

 

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA , November 2, 2005 — The first in a statewide series of appellate practice symposia will be held Tuesday, November 22, at the at the Town Center City Club, 222 Central Park Ave., Suite 230, Virginia Beach.  The event is open to all Virginia lawyers, but will be limited to the first 25 registrants.  Admission is free for Virginia State Bar members. 

 

The program will be presented by L. Steven Emmert, Chairman of the Appellate Practice Subcommittee for the Virginia State Bar’s Litigation Section, and Greg Lucyk, Chief Staff Attorney for the Virginia Supreme Court.  It will cover in detail: “Appellate Practice: Getting a Writ in Virginia ‘s Appellate Courts.”
